Born in 1985, in Johor, Malaysia, currently
lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
She graduated in 2005 from
Dasein Academy of Art, Kuala Lumpur. Since becoming a
professional artist in 2010, Chong has concentrated mainly on portraying lone female
figures in an intimate setting. She has shown in many group exhibitions including
in London, Manila, Singapore and Jakarta. In her short career she has won several awards
includingWinner of Malaysia Emerging Artist Award 2011.
